Privacy policy
This privacy policy explains which personal data we process through the Double Tee Tournaments app and software, why we do so, and what rights you have. Double Tee Tournaments provides the software golf clubs use to run their tournaments. For club member data your golf club is the data controller; we process that data on the club's behalf.
What data we process
Account data: your name, email address and (optionally) phone number.
Golf data: your club membership, handicap, membership number, role within the club and the scores you enter.
Technical data: a secure sign-in token on your device and basic data needed to run the app.
Why and on what basis
We use your data to let you sign in, show your tournaments and start lists, calculate scores and leaderboards, and support you.
Processing is based on the performance of the agreement between you and your club and on the legitimate interest of delivering and securing the service. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising or tracking.
Sharing with third parties and processors
Your data is accessible to your own golf club. Beyond that we only share it with processors that help us deliver the service, such as our hosting and database provider, and only under a data processing agreement.
We never sell data to third parties.
Retention and security
We keep your data for as long as you have an active account or as long as needed for the service and legal obligations.
Traffic runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection and your credentials are stored securely on your device.
Your rights and deleting your account
You have the right to access, correct, delete, transfer or object to the processing of your data. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
You can delete your account directly in the app via Profile → Delete account. This unlinks your data and disables sign-in.
